Take advantage of the TeenTix Program!

Teens can take advantage of a great program that enables them to see live theater performances around the greater Seattle area, including right here on Whidbey at WICA!

TeenTix is a revolutionary arts access program for teenagers. We help arts organizations connect with young audiences and we empower teenagers to engage with the arts on their own terms.

TeenTix was founded in 2004 by Seattle Center and in partnership with ten of the resident arts organizations on the Seattle Center campus. Its goal was – and is – to nurture the next generation of Seattle art audiences. In 2006, TeenTix began adding partners outside of Seattle Center. Currently, 42 arts organizations throughout the Puget Sound region participate in the TeenTix program, including Seattle Symphony, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Opera, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and ACT Theatre. To date, TeenTix has facilitated the sale of over 32,000 arts tickets to teens.

How it works:

Any teenager (13-19 years old) can sign up for a free Teen Tix pass. The pass entitles them to purchase $5.00 day-of-show tickets at any of our partner organizations.

TeenTix also provides various arts engagement opportunities to teens, from arts leadership training on the TeenTix Steering Committee, to arts criticism through the TeenTix Press Corps. Over 80 teen contributors make the TeenTix blog Seattle’s best source of youth-centric arts!
